Der Kraken liegt schon eine Weile auf unseren analogen und digitalen Schreibtischen.
Ein Herzensprojekt, an das wir beide – Dr. Andreas Malangré und ich – einen hohen, vielleicht manches Mal sogar einen zu hohen Anspruch hatten.
Wir wollten ein Team-Event mit den Fähigkeiten der berühmten „eierlegenden Wollmilchsau“. Eine verrückte Geschichte, die überrascht, sich flexibel an die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden anpasst, erfahrungsbasiertes Lernen ermöglicht – und die einfach richtig Spaß macht.
„Bescheidenheit ist eine Zier…“, aber ich glaube, wir haben das hinbekommen. *(*Natürlich haben Sie das letzte Wort!)
Warum? Vielleicht, weil wir jahrelange Erfahrung mit Team-Events haben. Weil wir das Feedback unserer Kunden immer als Anstoß genommen haben, uns weiterzuentwickeln. Oder weil wir fest daran glauben, dass man ernste Dinge tun kann, ohne dabei ernst zu sein. Aber genug der Lobhudelei – mehr Inhalt?
Der Kraken ist eine Expedition in die Dynamik eines Teams, in seine Stärken, Schwächen und ungenutzten Potenziale. Mit unserem extra für “The Kraken” entwickelten Shingō-Tōken-Canvas gehen wir der Sache auf den Grund – und zwar nicht klassisch nach dem Motto „Was lief gut, was lief schlecht?“, sondern mit einem präzisen Blick darauf, welche Muster sich gezeigt haben, welche Verhaltensweisen das Team stärken und welche es ausbremsen. Dabei bleibt der erhobene Zeigefinger immer unten. Denn das Wissen liegt im Team, im System – nicht in Standardantworten, die für alle gleich sind. “The Kraken” bietet den Rahmen, dieses Wissen anwendbar zu machen.
Das Event funktioniert überall – im schicken Offsite oder im normalen Besprechungsraum - und selbst, wenn das Team auf verschiedene Standorte aufgeteilt ist. Der Expeditionskoffer mit allem benötigten Material kommt direkt dorthin, wo er gebraucht wird. Bevor es losgeht, klären wir in einem kurzen Onboarding-Call alle Details, damit das Event reibungslos läuft – und später, wenn es dann stattfindet, begleitet ein erfahrener Trainer alles online, gibt Impulse, sorgt für Struktur und hält das Abenteuer am Laufen.

The Kraken has been sitting on our desks – both digital and analog – for quite a while now.
A passion project that Dr. Andreas Malangré and I cared about deeply, perhaps sometimes a little too much.
We wanted a team event that would be the famous “jack of all trades” – a wild story that surprises, adapts flexibly to the needs of different teams, enables experiential learning, and, above all, is simply a lot of fun.
“Modesty is a virtue,” as the saying goes… but honestly, we believe we’ve achieved exactly that.

Why?
Maybe because we’ve spent years designing team events.
Maybe because we always saw feedback not as criticism, but as an invitation to evolve.
Or maybe because we firmly believe that you can do serious work without being too serious about it.
But enough about us – what’s the Kraken actually about?
It’s an expedition into the dynamics of a team: into its strengths, its blind spots, and its hidden potential.
Using the Shingō-Tōken-Canvas developed especially for The Kraken, we dive deep – not with standard checklists like “What went well, what didn’t?”, but by identifying patterns, behaviors that lift the team up, and those that hold it back. And always without a raised finger.
Because the real knowledge lies within the team itself – in the system – not in ready-made answers that fit everyone equally.
The Kraken creates a space where this knowledge becomes tangible and actionable.
The event can happen anywhere – in a stylish offsite location, a regular meeting room, or even across multiple sites.
The expedition kit, with all the materials you’ll need, will be sent straight to where your team is.
